The Lisbon and Gothenburg Strategy at local level and the new territorial cooperation objective

Arco Latino, within the framework of the ALSO project (Achieving Lisbon and Gothenburg Strategy Objectives by Interreg) lead by Marche Region, organizes the seminar “The Lisbon and Gothenburg Strategy at local level and the new territorial cooperation objective”.
The ALSO project is an initiative funded by INTERACT that aims to evaluate the impact of the INTERREG programme in achieving the Lisbon and Gothenburg Strategy objectives. Over hundred projects have been studied in order to identify criteria and indicators to fulfil the priorities of the 2007-2013 programming period.
The objective of the seminar is to open space for municipal and second-tier territorial collectivities in order to approach the Lisbon Gothenburg Strategy from a local perspective, both at the planning and at the design of European projects.
The seminary is divided in two sessions. The first one focused on reflection and debate through presentations of different speakers that will raise the main challenges of the Lisbon Strategy for local authorities. The second one, which will be more practical, will identify the key issues and provide participants with tools to turn them into projects.
